One of the most important Upper Paleolithic sites located 3 km from Les Eyzies in the direction of Périgueux
The Laugerie-Haute site, one of the most important of the Upper Paleolithic, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It has revealed a wealth of artifacts, including bone objects, works of art and a large quantity of carved flint. Located 3 km from Les Eyzies, on the way to Périgueux (RD710), access to the guided tour must be booked in advance with Grotte de Font-de-Gaume. Parking is available opposite the site.
