A small hamlet style holiday village with 94 small houses and 16 apartments. The Odalys holiday residence is ideally located 10 minutes walk from the Vézère and the city centre of Montignac and 1 km from Lascaux IV. You are close to the tourist sites of the Périgord noir. The accommodation can accommodate 4 to 8 people and has a kitchenette with microwave and dishwasher, a living room and a sofa bed. Some have a balcony and/or terrace. Swimming pool and paddling pool, playground, volleyball court, table tennis tables are ideal for families to relax. Clubs for children and teenagers are organized during the season.

nice: the region (lascaux, Castles, caves, canoeing on Vézère), 10 minutes walk from Montignac (bar, restaurant, shops), calm residence, rather cool staff.
not nice:
size of accommodation! A scandal for the price. We had an accommodation 6/8 people. We were 6 already extremely tight I do not see how living 8 in it!?
In fact it is the concept that it would have to re-examine! I measured the rooms: 2,3m X 2.3m: 5.7 m ²! One tours bed, by putting side. Legally, does that remain a room?
For " cabine" with bunk beds: 1.5 X 2.7m, you might open the window only 1/3!
2 ridiculously small bathrooms, for 8 people, without arrangement.
A " cuisine" completely unsuited size, no oven (just a small microwave). Do not expect to cook for 8 in one service. Likewise, if it has suddenly rained (fortunately that was not the case), I do not see how to eat and be together, in the " cuisine-stay-lounge-chambre". Very few arrangements, or mall placed. etc... In short, for the same price choose a cottage rather.
The terrace: 1.5m X 2.5m... for 6/8 people! mdr..., does not make mdr.
The pool, marked by staff with 12x12m=144m ², plus paddling pool. The photo on the pub matches the size of the pool, do not imagine it is bigger. The residence can accommodate 600 sea-green, on 144m ² swimming pool: do not expect to swim all at the same time! (dixit reception) I confirm. Reminder, private individual, it is 10x5 m; -)
The pool is enclosed by a wire fence, san; the 2m edge. Deckchairs are present, but no place to put a towel if there more deckchairs... no place... optimization!
Less painful, but a fort regret though:
activities: very low. The evening: nothing. No contest petanque, or table tennis for children, not a mini evening... nothing... no atmosphere. Moreover, there is only one ping-pong table (concrete) and a pseudonym volleyball court, at the foot of the residence.
Pay TV, wi-fi paying... it is sad for the price.
In short, very disappointed, I thought Odalys offered something different from the traditional rabbit huts. And not!
No, it is optimization- optimization, or how to make the most of world in the minimum of place. It is sad... when people have some is to pay in price for this type of services that will make them funny.
The region is nevertheless bloody nice, and people seem cool... and you can eat well at very affordable prices; -)
