A new way of understanding green tourism in Périgord with these unusual accommodations in the forest near Brantôme.
O Bois Dormant is a site of unusual accommodations, in the middle of the forest. You can sleep in perched cabins, yurts, prospector tents or a wigwam. It is a bubble made of boat canvas with large openings in transparent Plexiglas, installed in the undergrowth. The creators wanted their site to be ecoresponsible. The yurts or prospector tents are placed on a floor on stilts in order to minimize the impact on the ground. No accommodation is connected to the water and electricity networks except for the reception and sanitary cottages.
