LA ROSA DEI VENTI
After 18 years of loyalty in Périgueux, enjoying a timeless reputation, Valérie and Olivier left the management of L'Olivio, so well located in the old streets of the Mataguerre district, to a chef coming from… Palermo, a region south of Italy. The Italian specialties, especially pizzas, are therefore always on the menu, in the unchanged setting of ocher stones and old beams. The terrace is the major asset on sunny days, illuminated by the invigorating colors of the toppings. Winner of the 2011 French Pizza Championship title, Vincenzo gives the best of the wood-burning oven with his pizzas in the names of his country... he reserves one for vegetarians. Salads are just as generous. The mushroom omelette has its place on board, even if it competes with the star with osso buco polenta and di bufala cheese. The lunch offer allows you to head south at a lower cost with a charcuterie platter, a veal cutlet, a panna cotta... And why not give in to an Italian draught beer? Of course, it's not that common.
