Marie-Hélène and Philippe Schneider took over the place by leaving behind a big deal of 9 employees in Paris to come to Périgord. They wanted to live in Dordogne were charmed by this place, very lively during the summer, but also during the Christmas holidays. Philippe is in the kitchen, with his son’s help, everything is homemade in a family atmosphere and an attentive reception. The couple had the good idea of unifying the prices by dish category. The lunch menu immediately warms the table up in winter with an offered well-tempered soup, potato dish of potatoes, mushrooms, salad and smoked duck breast, and a dame blanche as dessert. Everything is copious and delicious. The dining room is cosy, decorated with woodwork, and the terrace stretches over one of the most pleasant squares in Périgueux... the same good address whatever the season, placed in the hands of professionals. As the address also has a tea room, you can just take a break to eat a pastry or enjoy an ice cream.
