Bar-tobacco-tea room in Périgueux serving a menu of original dishes, meats and pan-fried prawns.
The place is very crowded and it's best to reserve. It must be said that Valérie and Thierry Desbrini have a sense of welcome and that you come and go in this good address of the Place Bugeaud, whether it is on the bar-tabac side or in the lunch room which is a tea room the rest of the time. It is not very crowded in a swirling brasserie atmosphere. The contemporary setting reflects the smiling dynamism of the team, with two good professionals in cuisine, one of whom is particularly in trendy desserts (excellent and light). The menu offers some original dishes, sweetbreads or calf's head served with a fine sauce. The suggestion of the day can lead you to saffron pan-fried prawns with pepper cream and basmati rice or mussels and pollock lasagne with piquillo sauce and salad (real).
