In front of the Pastry's house and the source statue called La Frog, the location is strategic. The terrace is really great because it is beautiful and sheltered from the sun by big blue canvases. In the summer it is stormed, customers settle even without seeing the map. A second room was opened indoors to accommodate more customers especially in winter. Bistrotière cuisine remains based on local products. On the day menu, for example: vegetable soup, thigh of barbarie duck with citrus fruit and vegetables, homemade fruit salad. A gras, gras, tender sauce, ceps sauce, duck and shot, walnut-flavored cream and salads.

Maitrises des cuissons inconnus... Magrets de canards froids,mal cuit, pas de cuisson sur la peau ??? Frites grasses.Salades confites par l'excès d’assaisonnements.
Vraiment pas de la grande cuisine. A éviter.
The very not organised waiter was alone and could not properly deal with the clientele. A young woman behind the bar spent ten minutes to prepare drinks. Waiting was long and two couples left.
As for the dishes: meats tea not department where local produce is a contemporary food product (ray supermarket) foie gras not house and which is quite an industrial block, a steak not bigger than a palm and not making even 1 cm thick, duck let us not speak of it, and the salad ocean collapses under green salad but surely not under seafood! We did not take dessert, we did not yet are 1 hour.
In short, a place to be forgotten as quickly as possible!

C'est un restaurant où je vais régulièrement le midi pour des repas d'affaires. J'y mange également en famille ou entre amis le soir.
J'apprécie la qualité de l’accueil, mais plus encore la fraîcheur des plats.
On y retrouve des plats typiques périgourdins et des plats du nord dont sont originaires les propriétaires actuels.
Le midi je privilégie souvent le plat du jour. Le soir j'opte pour le menu à 20 euros... tous les amis ou relations que j'y ai amené ont plébiscité.
