Museum located at an important crossroads, presenting the history of the archaeological site of Cidene
This very evocative and very educational museum presents the history of the archaeological site of Cidène. Located in an important crossroads, as attested by the pre-Roman time, Petit-Bersac has remarkable vestiges (thermal baths, large drain, and hypocaust). Although the latter are currently hidden, an important furniture (domestic objects, pottery, bronze, jewellery, coins, tools...) was discovered in the region by the archaeologist Jean Pichardie. Everything is grouped in this communal museum where the museographic constraints are respected. Metals were restored by the laboratory of the Aquitaine museum.
