COLLÉGIALE NOTRE-DAME
Discover this medieval church, now a venue for contemporary art exhibitions and concerts: more info at the town hall.
Built in the 12th century, this church became a collegiate church in 1500. It was originally the chapel of a castle, now disappeared, built around the year 1000. The church was badly damaged during the Wars of Religion and the French Revolution. The choir is surmounted by a dome on pendentives, adorned with magnificent 17th-century murals, and modern stained-glass windows by Henri Guérin illuminate this beautiful ensemble. Abandoned as a church in 1935, its recent restoration has transformed it into a contemporary art exhibition and concert hall.
