This inn in the countryside is worth a visit. For the setting of old stones with terrace or open fire, depending on the season, where Grete and Jean-Claude welcome their guests, and the exquisite cuisine of the chef who highlights local products... Jean-Claude Laurent is a Master Chef of Belgium after working in Montreal and in Gaston Lenôtre. He brought his passion and his know-how in Perigord. Behind the stoves, he prepares inventive cuisine with selected products, respecting the taste of everyone, just highlighted by spices and aromatic plants from the garden. The refinement combined with know-how offers nice surprises: scrambled morels, sweetbreads with foie gras sauce crust, wild asparagus confit with a soup of gariguettes, pear variations. Quality, inventive, kindness... for an excellent value for money. The bread is homemade, the meats are raised and hatched in France, and fish and shellfish are from wild origin. Grete, his wife, is very caring for her guests, welcomed in rooms (the Les Violettes room is suitable for visitors with wheelchair). The sweet and salty breakfast is included (bread and homemade jams, ham, cheese, yoghurt). Jean-Claude Laurent offers cooking classes on request where you can enjoy his dishes.

Un grand merci au chef Jean Claude Laurent et à sa délicieuse compagne pour leur générosité et ces moments aussi surprenants qu'agréables! Nous avons été reçu dans un lieu magique, convivial et chaleureux! Sans parler des petits plats exquis du chef qui vous fera aimer ce que vous pensiez ne pas apprécier ! Des produits de qualité cuisinés et présentés avec amour et passion! Une adresse remarquable qui mérite de s'y arrêter et surtout d'y retourner! Un grand merci à Jean Claude et Grete pour cette belle découverte. À très vite.

This place reserves surprised, charm and a warm welcome in a notable discretion, tranquillity on the corner of a fire!
That wonderful setting. There is before and after!
I for example would celebrate a beautiful meeting in love: plenitude reigns in this refined room, a comforting feeling.
Jean-Claude is close to his guests, authentic, but especially near a cuisine of passion! These is the eyes closed that Hago confidence in its methods and his menus with finesse rarely equalized at this price!

A moment of guaranteed fun! And the remarkable guests.

- Endroit charmant en pleine campagne.
- Accueil chaleureux des propriétaires.
- Chambres spacieuses et confortables.
- Repas exceptionnel "au coin du feu" à un prix défiant toute concurrence.
- Produits du terroir succulents.

Nous avons eu le plaisir de découvrir la cuisine, la gentillesse et le cadre idyllique du restaurant de Grette et je Claude. L'originalité des menus est surprenante, la qualité des produits et de la présations est à la hauteur de tout espérance.. Nous y reviendrons aussi souvent que possible car il est rare de trouver un restaurant ou nous savons pertinemment que nous ne seront pas déçus. Un grand merci.
