LA VILLA SAINT-LAURENT
La Villa Saint-Laurent has changed owners. It is located in a former character wine estate of the 18th century, 5 minutes from Bergerac and Roumanières airport, on the Saint-Emilion‐Sarlat axis. The manor house has been converted into a hotel of nine rooms with different dimensions, three of which are in the former adjoining wine cellar. The restaurant space is spacious and cosy and the terrace is very popular on fine days. A spacious room is provided for receptions (180 people). Two types of catering are offered to guests: lunch at the bistro Le 71 and dinner at the gastronomic restaurant. The inventive cuisine changes according to the seasons and the chef's inspiration. At the Bistro, the slate displays 4 starters, 4 main courses and 5 desserts with for example, an endive pie, goat cheese and balsamic vinegar, a chicken supreme with coriander, accompanied by its risotto with Provence flavours and a poire belle Hélène. In the restaurant, the gourmet menu treats us with a salmon tartare gravalax and red pepper mousse, a pork mignon medallion and its famous cream sauce (exclusivity of the chef) and a rum baba, chantilly and perfusion of rum. Everything is homemade, even the french fries. The cellar contains a fine selection of the South-West wines at the direct producer's price, to take-away or to eat in with a corkage fee.
