LA PETITE BORIE
Former restaurant in Sarlat offering a menu of traditional regional cuisine, foie gras and grilled meat.
It is one of the oldest restaurants in Sarlat, which already existed in 1920. In this old walnut oil mill, located in Sarlat city center, the welcome is warm. It's a pleasure to settle on the ground floor in a convivial setting or in the beautiful room upstairs. The menu is based on traditional regional cuisine with foie gras specialty. All products are purchased from local producers under the IGP Périgord label, which guarantees the geographical proximity and the quality of the production! The foie gras has thus many variations: the whole foie gras as starter with toasted country bread, Guérande sea salt and its glass of Monbazillac wine, pan-fried with honey and raspberry vinegar or on a Rossini-style beef fillet... We also like the smoked trout fillet from the southwest to algae butter or geese parmentier with ceps. But don't also miss the meal salads, grills and the dishes of the day. And to complete the whole, beer with truffle is fascinating.
