At the gates of Sarlat, the castle of Campagnac, ancient noble lair, ensured the defense of the city on the northwestern side. Since 1983, it belongs to the city of Sarlat and has kept the marks of the past with its polygonal tower framed by two main buildings. Waiting for a restoration, it offers however to the visitors the possibility of taking advantage of its park of forty hectares in which it is possible to practise the excursion on foot or in VTT.
