At the gateway to Sarlat, the Château de Campagnac, an ancient fortress defending the town to the northwest, bears witness to its rich past. Since 1983, it has belonged to the commune of Sarlat and retains its medieval character, with its polygonal tower and two main buildings. Although undergoing restoration, the site invites visitors to explore its forty-hectare park, ideal for hiking and mountain biking, in a setting that is both historic and natural.
