EGLISE SAINT SOUR
The church was rebuilt in the century and restored many times over the years
The Saint-Sour abbey church was founded in the 6th century by Saint Sour, then sacked by the Normans and destroyed. Rebuilt at the end of the 10th century, destroyed again during the Hundred Years' War, rebuilt again in the 15th century and restored over time, all that remains of the abbey building today is the church. Climb the stairs and you'll discover a 14th-century recumbent tomb and, inside, a 19th-century rose window. Every summer at 10pm, a video mapping show, "les nuits de l'imaginaire", transforms the façade to the delight of the public.

A visiter.
