This noble lair, classified as a historical monument, set into the cliff, overhanging the Vézère, allowed the ford to be watched over. Our ancestors already occupied the site 20,000 years ago, then a refuge was built in the rock with underground and overhead rooms and finally a castle with a hall of honour, a weapons room, a bedroom, a lounge, a chapel... and also a dungeon and a dungeon. This fortification has of course defensive elements but also aspects of pleasure, such as the furniture exhibited in the baroness's room and in the large lounge.

Petit bémol : la visite du musée de la torture est vraiment déconseillée aux ames sensibles. Ma mère et moi e sommes ressorties le moral dans les chaussettes, déprimées de voir à quel point l'être humain peut utiliser son imagination à mauvais escient.
Meublé d'époque, il est resté en excellent état et propose en outre une exposition d'objets préhistoriques, armes, outils et instruments de torture.
