Country inn with terrace in Vaunac offering generous dishes, burger menu and homemade dessert.

A cosy country inn, just the way you like it. You can enjoy Périgord-style, family-style cuisine in the dining room or on the terrace. Plates are generous, and there's always room for homemade desserts. On the à la carte menu, try the braserade (2 people minimum, except in summer), the omelette with porcini mushrooms or the American burger with duck breast and foie gras (the burger bread comes from the baker). This is an excellent, quiet stopover in a small village in the Périgord Vert region, where you can also stay, as the inn also offers eight charming rooms.

Magnifique moment partagé. Les plats sont excellents et généreux. L'accueil est très chaleureux. Le lieu est typique et calme et agréable. Je recommande vivement pour découvrir les plats typiques de la Dordogne.

Genuinely lovely place to eat both at lunchtime and in the evening. The staff are very kind and attentive and will do anything to make your visit enjoyable. The menu de jour is outstanding value and the food is excellent and very well presented. Today we had a lovely soup with homemade croutons, followed by a fruits de mer terrine which was fantastic. The main course was an enormous piece of tender gammon with frites maison and haricot beans. A choice of 3 desserts followed ......and the 4 course meal with wine included was only 16 euros. The chef and waiting staff are very kind and hospitable. A real find.
