The Cape Town Relay is not new. It was founded in 1914 and was called Café Laviolle after its founder. Today Patrick Abeille, the chef, and his wife Martine are the owners of this hotel-restaurant, renamed Relais du Cap in 1963. Here we privilege seafood rather than land products even if some meats or local ham are on the menu. Among the specialties, seafood platters and plates and eels with parsley. The decoration of the 7 rooms evokes well the holidays at the seaside.
