Office for all the information you need to make the most of your stay in and around Lège-Cap-Ferret.

A stay in one of the most beautiful peninsulas of France can be improvised, but you may well miss small wonders. The Tourist Office is there to inform you and give you all the necessary information for a pleasant stay in the 10 communes of the peninsula: accommodation, activities, outings, places not to be missed... Without forgetting the numerous guided tours in high season (culture, oyster farming, with children...).

If you are French or if you are fluent in French, you will get everything you need. If you only speak English or another world language, you will learn virtually nothing.
As the Easter holidays approached, I asked in English about the normal opening hours of public institutions or shops during the holidays. Who else to ask but a native Frenchman, right? The information center worker understood me, but she no longer knew how to answer. So she started looking for the opening hours of a nearby library on Google, which I didn't need to know. When I mentioned that I can find information on Google myself and that institutions don't usually tailor the information on their Google profiles to sporadic events, I thanked and said goodbye because the information center lady shrugged and said she didn't know. After all, this information is quite common in France, so it followed the French style of communication. And I give the two stars for that.
