Moorish-style villa in Lège-Cap-Ferret, built by Léon Lesca, an entrepreneur who made his fortune in Algeria

With its small century-old huts and its beaches, L'Herbe is an invitation to stroll and discover. The village was home to the Villa Algérienne, a vast Moorish-style building built by Léon Lesca, an entrepreneur who made his fortune in Algeria, notably by building the port of Algiers. All that remains of this villa is an old gate. On the other hand, the chapel of Sainte-Marie-du-Cap, known as Algerian, a mixture of Islamic and Christian inspiration, is intact. Arrive by the avenue Muscla in order to have a magnificent view on the Basin and this typical village.

L'HERBE
