With its 30 vineyards, spread over 10 communes in the Aude region, the Boutenac cru has all the makings of a great wine! Wines of great typicity, elaborated in the tradition, whose emblematic grape variety, the carignan, gives them a particular structure with a fantastic deep dress with purple reflections. The wines of this vintage, blended with Syrah, Mourvèdre or Grenache, offer us scents of spices and ripe fruits mixed with hints of mocha, great generous wines, powerful on harmonious tannins, all the power of this land rich in its history and the men who work it. It took patience, rigor and hard work, love of the land, for these Aude winegrowers to finally obtain in 2005, after ten years, the recognition of AOC Corbières-Boutenac, a great adventure began for wines that have since largely acquired their letters of nobility and are just waiting to be discovered and tasted.
1-2-3 go and taste! On 22nd October 2023, the second Marathon d'Occitanie will take place, sporty, festive and greedy, the marathon of Boutenac in Corbières. 42 km 195 of suffering certainly but especially of pleasure and it is what will prevail for this second edition. www.marathonduboutenac.com
