CHATEAU DES AUZINES
The domain of Auzines owes its name to persistent oaks whose acorns and small leaves are agitated over the vineyards. All grapes harvested on the field are typical of the Corbières: Carignan, Grenache and Syrah, and Bruno Bernet, the oenologist and winemaker of the domain, focuses on improving the quality of its red vintages; thus, he enhances the soil and limits production to the best mature grapes. Fleurs de Garrigues is the main vintage of the domain; its cassis and blackberry flavours perfectly blend with rosemary, thyme, lavender and broom, which are typical of the surrounding scrubland. The domain offers a warm welcome, and the tasting of their AOC is a pure delight.
