In a region where producers mainly produce red vintages, Suzette and André Lignères, whose 15% of vineyard is planted with white grape variety, have added white vintages to their range of wines for nearly twenty years now. The grapes harvested when fully ripe, vinified after skin-contact maceration and matured for several months on lees, give, with Vermentino, a young and friendly wine, Vigne Combe Donzelle, which is perfect with shellfish, starters and soft cheeses. The complex and well-structured wine of the vintage Vigne La Prière, prepared with grenache grapes harvested from vine stocks of more than fifty years and roussanne, is reserved for special occasions! To this day, at Château la Baronne, the cultivation of the grape and the maintenance of the vineyard are certified as organic farming.
