A restaurant in Saint-Émilion with a large terrace and brasserie-style dishes served generously in addition to a daily menu.

Place de l'église monolithe is certainly one of the most beautiful, along with Place du clocher (of course!), but you'll have to stray further afield to find better gourmet addresses. Le Clos du Roy is less than a minute's walk away. In a quieter street, also benefiting from a shady terrace, chef T. Nolet's name rhymes with generosity. The recipes are traditional, the fries are homemade, the daily menu costs less than 30 euros and is served at lunchtime and in the evening... The restaurant closes on Mondays and Tuesdays in low season.

Bonjour, Pour m’appeler en m’agressant comme quoi j’avais réservé à 19h, sauf que j’étais testé positif au Covid et que j’ai complètement zappé tellement j’ai eu la tête ailleurs Ça parle en mode irrespectueux, même pas un au revoir et ça raccroche au nez Il a une façon de dire les choses et d’être un peu plus diplomate Et surtout quand on travaille dans un restaurant sur Saint-Émilion.

Accueil très froid, on nous demande si nous avons une réservation pour finalement nous trouver une table sur une terrasse vide de client. Le repas était excellent grâce à un mélange de saveurs et des cuissons au top. Le gros bémol est le (les) dessert (s), bien trop chers pour le peu présent dans l'assiette.

A very nice and welcoming restaurant with outdoor seating at a street triangle. Very nice ambiance. I booked a table online but it turned out to be for the following Saturday!!! The reception person was very understanding and helping us find a solution right away. He found us a table at last minute anyway. We were very grateful. We took a bottle of rose as aperitif. There was a menu panel in English showing that they must have a large English speaking customer base. We speak both English and French. We ordered main courses - Angus beef (Entrecôte) with french fries and Duck Confit and Foie Gras sauce. The food was very tasty although my steak was a bit tough which was the main characteristic of this cut. We had Rosé wine to start with and paired our meal with half a bottle of St Émilion red wine. Desserts were sorbet and ice cream. Then coffee for digestion. We spent about 150€ for three persons. Three mains. Three desserts Three coffee. 1.5 bottles of wine. One sparkling water. Very satisfied. Thank you for your good service.

Nous avons passé un agréable moment dans ce restaurant en plein cœur de St Émilion. Une carte volontairement restreinte pour des produits de qualité. Les gambas à la plancha étaient divines : très bien présentées, une cuisson parfaite, un plat goûteux accompagné notamment de petits légumes revenus dans une sauce réduite délicieuse. Les desserts maisons ne sont pas en reste! Il est souvent difficile de trouver des restaurants de qualité dans des endroits aussi touristiques. Celui-ci fût une belle surprise. Je recommande!
