Restaurant offering a beautiful wine list of France in Saint-Emilion.

During 2018, L'Huitrier Pie was taken over by a young couple; Camille Brouillard and Soufiane Assarrar; a chef who has worked with starred chefs (Le Castellas in Collias, Le Pavillon in Le Touquet or La Réserve de Beaulieu in Beaulieu-sur-Mer). L'Huitrier Pie is an inventive gastronomic table where the menus are declined in several pleasures to finish in apotheosis with the Animal menu in 9 times. The Floral menu at lunchtime, which starts with amuse-bouche, is a good approach to the chef's daily inspiration. Nice wine list from France.

Das L'Huitrier Pie liegt im unteren Teil von Saint-Émilion. Das Lokal ist gepflegt und bietet genügend Raum für die Gäste. Der Service ist freundlich und fleissig. Das Essen ist sehr gut, trotzdem waren wir nicht restlos überzeugt. Der Wein (30€ pro Glas!) war hervorragend und das Geld wert. Das Amuse Bouche war gut, aber hatte leider etwas zu wenig Pep. Die Spargeln waren gut, aber es fehlte auch hier das Überraschungsmoment. Das Rindfleisch war sehr gut im Geschmack, aber etwas zu wenig zart. Die Artischocken waren lecker, die Ummantelung unnötig. Die Nachspeise mit Erdbeeren war ebenfalls sehr gut. Das L'Huitrier Pie kann für einen Besuch empfohlen werden. Man fühlt sich wohl und kann ein sehr gutes Essen geniessen. Die Preise sind angemessen.
