LES GIRON’DINES
Establishment near the church with a superb shaded terrace in Saint-Emilion.
Walking distance of the church, taking on your left as you arrive in rue des Girondins, you will find the charming establishment of Les Giron'dines. The small room all in stone, beautiful yellow tablecloths, the block and fireplace, make this place cozy and warm. The main asset is the beautiful shaded terrace. Once installed, they offer you with kindness and smiles the daily specials and the menu. Everything is homemade with quality products, for in the result original recipes which mix traditional dishes. Confit of duck from the south-west of France, pork filet mignon with Fourme d'Ambert and semi-cooked salmon gratin with green olive cream are suggestions for the winter season. Fine and family cuisine at the same time, you love! Because of course, the menus vary with the seasons. On the à la carte menu, warm goat cheese, honey and caramelised apples stuffed pancake or salmon tartar with citrus fruits as starters, then a fillet of duck breast, cauliflowers risotto or a Charolais rib steak with a Saint-Emilion sauce as main dishes then frozen macaroons and crème brûlée as desserts. A very nice restaurant, warmly recommended.
