Saint-Emilion's first historic wine bar, L'Envers du Décor opened in 1987 and was taken over in 2017 by the owners of Château Pavie. Winner of the best wine list in France at the Grand Prix de la Presse du Vin, this restaurant never disappoints. And if the wine list is to die for, the market cuisine has nothing to be ashamed of. The pastries and bread are also homemade. All under the signature of chef Bertrand Bordenave. The cellar dug into the rock and the fireplace make the place very pleasant and warm in winter.

Nous avons testé un soir et nous y sommes retournés le lendemain midi !!!
Par contre mauvaise hospitalité du patron qui n'offre même pas un digestif sur une commande à 500 euros pour un enterrement de vie de garçon. j
