DOMAINE DE ROLLAND
This estate was established in 1850 by Emile Rolland. Since then, six generations have succeeded on the estate. Currently, it is Louis Colomer who exploits the 24 hectares of shale hillsides, the main part of the grape variety consists of carignan, grenache noir and syrah. Since 2009, the farming has evolved to become organic, and since 2012, it has been the case. The philosophy of this estate is remarkable "Never ask to ground more than it can give. Enhance qualitatively what it gives to you". We particularly recommend you two Fitou wines: Colline des Fées aged in barrels and Vieilles Vignes where syrah and old carignan blend in harmony. It is possible to buy on line. The estate also offers a cottage that is referenced as Gîtes de France 3 épis, an accommodation with large capacity and a shaded garden but also its olive oil from the three hectares of olive trees that you can admire.
