Between the Aude and Canal du Midi, a few minutes from Carcassonne, Domaine de la Mijane is the ideal setting to discover the wines of Cabardès. The vineyard has been cultivated since the 18th century on this property of about one hundred hectares. Nowadays, actually 30 hectares of the estate are dedicated to winemaking, under the vigilant eye of the oenologist Fabrice Perez. Due to its geographical location, La Mijane produces wines that have a double appellation: Cabardès, Protected Designation of Origin and Cité de Carcassonne, Protected Geographical Indication. Pinot Gris, Merlot, Chardonnay, Grenache, or Gewurztraminer will be offered to you during a tasting in the vault that was completely refurbished in 2015.
