The vineyard of Domaine des Cèdres de Robert (formerly Château de Robert), taken over in 2013 by Delphine Serres de la Roussière, is located at the western end of the Malepère appellation, it is located in its entirety on a 22-hectare gravelly terrace between the Pyrenees mountains and the Montagne noire, benefiting from oceanic and Mediterranean influences. Delphine is one of those young winegrowers for whom rigour, controlled yields, reasoned cultivation and tradition are the key words of success. With its 8 grape varieties, it offers red and rosé wines in PDO Malepère and IGC Pays d'Oc, some of which are distinguished as the Tradition Cuvée (PDO), a wine on the balanced fruit that evolves with more spicy notes after a period in the cellar (between 5 and 8 years), silver medal winner for the 2013 and 2015 vintages. Another success of the estate, the rosé wines, the clear and fresh Cuvée Sigillé 2015 (PDO), won gold among the Independent Winegrowers, a shower of awards, particularly at the 2019 general agricultural competition for all these wines. You can taste and shop on site in the new cellar and also enjoy Delphine's husband's fruit and vegetable production. Promising wines to follow closely.

The different wines we tried were excellent and good value.
We also purchased some red kiwi fruits which made a nice change from rich Christmas desserts.
Delphine was a lovely host and we learned a lot about wine and activities to do in the area.
Nous avons partagé un excellent moment avec la vigneronne.
