It is one of the sporting events of the year in Martinique! Every year, the Fort-de-France half-marathon welcomes hundreds of athletes from all over the Caribbean and even from mainland France. In addition to the traditional 21 km across the island, other alternative races of 5 and 10 kilometers have been added for the less prepared: they are called the Jou Ouvé. During the race, many festivities take place throughout the capital of Foyal.
