MARTINIQUE ENTOMOLOGIE
Created in 2012, the Martinique Entomology Association was created following the regrouping of the different six-legged animal lovers of the island. Numerous insects (kabrit bwa, bèt a fé, pig tè, taktak, poulbwa, vonvon...) are part of the island's heritage but remain unknown: if some precursors like Father Pinchon were interested in them, too few have studied them and many species are still to be discovered. The objectives of Martinique Entomology (the science that studies insects) are to develop entomology on the island, to make discover the insects of Martinique to as many people as possible and to contribute to enrich the knowledge of this fauna.
