Housed in a former 19th-century military commissariat building, the museum is one of the few places to detail the history of Amerindian settlement in the Lesser Antilles. The collections include over 2,000 pieces dating back to pre-Columbian times, in particular ceramics and stone and shell tools dating from the Amerindians as far back as 4,000 BC! A beautiful journey through time that raises questions about the refinement of populations once considered "primitive".
