This house, founded in 1871, is still in the hands of the Malleville family. A longevity due to the quality of the reception and the kitchen. The Chef knows how to work the sure values and the seasonal dishes always have the same success because the products are very fresh. À la carte Bistrot suggestions which are a little bit the signature of the house, very creative: a terrine of duck foie gras "house" in Monbazillac, red onion jam or an oven-roasted duck breast, morello cherry sauce, red cabbage and Beynacoise potatoes. The fish is not absent with a roasted cod fillet, crispy peanut cashew nut, turmeric puree, "tzatziki" coriander-mint sauce. If you just want a large dish, the Assiette snack (Serrano ham, goose rillettes, Rocamadour cabécou, tome du Périgord with walnut liqueur, farmhouse Saint-Nectaire and redcurrant jelly) is superb. Among the salads, the Vegetarian is appetizing: cabécou de Rocamadour toasted with honey, pine nuts, Greek-style vegetables and fresh pasta. Finally, omelette lovers will enjoy the omelette with smoked duck breast and Beynacoise potatoes. Guests can sit in the air-conditioned panoramic room with a capacity of 80 people, overlooking the Dordogne, or in the veranda. Both offer a breathtaking view of the river. The room is decorated in a contemporary whitewashed wood style. The waterfront brasserie below the restaurant, Le Ti'Malo, is open from May to the end of September. It offers salads, meats, pizzas and ice cream sundaes.
