Establishment in Castelnaud-la-Chapelle serving a home-made Perigord menu with an excellent quality-price ratio.

The restaurant offers a beautiful view of the river and Castelnaud castle. Claudine is in charge of reception and service, Dominique in the kitchen. The chef has nothing to hide as he works in front of the customer. Everything is homemade. The Périgord menu is available with or without dessert, and offers excellent value for money. For starters, the homemade foie gras terrine or the porcini omelette are great appetizers. The tapas menu and à la carte menu feature Basque specialties. You can come with family or friends, and the atmosphere is very festive.

Nous y sommes allés pour le st Valentin, avec un nouveau propriétaire. Le plats sont arrivés froid, le poisson n'était pas cuit, le poulet basquaise laissait a désirer un bout de carcasse qui se battait dans l'assiette avec une garniture presque inexistante. Nous ne reviendrons pas.
