Establishment in Castelnaud-la-Chapelle serving a home-made Perigord menu with an excellent quality-price ratio.

The restaurant offers a beautiful view of the river and Castelnaud castle. Claudine is in charge of reception and service, Dominique in the kitchen. The chef has nothing to hide as he works in front of the customer. Everything is homemade. The Périgord menu is available with or without dessert, and offers excellent value for money. For starters, the homemade foie gras terrine or the porcini omelette are great appetizers. The tapas menu and à la carte menu feature Basque specialties. You can come with family or friends, and the atmosphere is very festive.

Une très bonne adresse
Une cuisine basque originale, idéal pour se changer un peu des classiques de la cuisine périgourdine. Le cadre est très agréable avec la vue sur le château et la Dordogne. Les propriétaires sont vraiment très gentils et serviables, nous avons passé un très bon moment. Je tiens à insister là dessus car ce n'est pas le cas de tous les restaurants des environs, notamment à Beynac où certains sont là surtout pour faire du chiffre.
