Day 1: London
Steps: Londres, Saint-Mary
You can easily spend an extra day in London and devote it to the activities of your choice. A trip to Kensington and Knightsbridge to discover Harrods and visit the excellent Victoria & Albert Museum and Natural History Museum is highly recommended. Notting Hill isn't far away and is also clearly worth a detour. Or explore the cool, arty neighborhoods of the East: Shoreditch, Dalston, Hackney...
Day 2: The Kent Coast
Steps: Canterbury, Margate, Deal, Douvres - Dover
While in Dover and Canterbury, take the opportunity to visit the coastal resorts and heritage of the coastline, such as Margate, one of the oldest seaside resorts, or Deal.
Day 3: South Downs
Steps: Chichester, Arundel
The Sussex hinterland is characterized by lush greenery and impressive hills. Hiking enthusiasts can take in the views from Ditchling Beacon and Devil's Dyke. If you're more into heritage, head for ChichesterCathedral and nearby Arundel Castle.
Day 4: Bournemouth and Poole
Dorset's largest towns, these popular seaside resorts offer a great opportunity for a relaxing day out, with a huge beach, a few attractions and often mild weather.
Day 5: New Forest, Winchester and Salisbury
Steps: New Forest National Park, Winchester
Winchester and Salisbury are both small, historic towns, typical of the country, where you can spend a few hours enjoying a rich heritage.
Day 6: South Devon coast
Steps: Torquay, Dartmouth, Dartmoor National Park, Exeter
To the south ofExeter and Dartmoor National Park, the Devon coast offers coastal landscapes that are a credit to the region. The small port of Dartmouth is particularly charming and colorful, but you can also visit Salcombe, Torquay and Exmouth.
Day 7: South coast of Cornwall
Less impressive than its northern neighbor, but truly picturesque and verdant, the south side of the county is well worth a visit, to contemplate the charming countryside around Looe, Polperro, Fowey or the Roseland Peninsula. All these small ports are lively and friendly.
Day 8: Cheddar, Glastonbury, Wells
Steps: Exmoor National Park, Glastonbury, Wells, Bristol, Bath
Between Glastonbury Hill, as well as medieval , with its splendid cathedral and lanes steeped in history.
Day 9: Bristol and Bath
Don't choose between Bristol and Bath as suggested in the South West itinerary and spend a day in each, if not more, to fully appreciate all the attractions.
Day 10: The countryside and the Cotswolds
Steps: Oxford
Between Bristol and , spend a day or two exploring the Cotswolds. A picturesque, unspoilt green setting, its hills and dales are home to magnificent medieval villages such as Castle Combe and Bibury.
