How to get there - Mille-Isles

Steps: Gananoque

On the way to Kingston, take a break in the small town of Gananoque. From the marina, take a boat and explore Mille-Îles. Enjoy seafood at one of Gananoque's restaurants and head for Kingston in the early afternoon. Arrived in Kingston, take the tourist bus (Kingston Trolley Tours) for a round trip of this charming city. End your day with a dinner in the vaults of Fort Henry, a place full of history. For those who do not take the cruise in Gananoque, treat yourself to the delight of a cruise-meal at sunset aboard the bateau-mouche of Kingston 1000 Islands Cruises. Memorable!

On the way to Toronto

If you leave early enough in the morning, we strongly suggest you take Highway 33 from Kingston to the Glenora ferry. Make a quick stop in the charming little town of Picton and head to the huge sandy beach at Sandbanks Provincial Park. From there, join Highway 401 to Toronto. Once in town, leave your car in the hotel parking lot and take the subway or walk. Explore downtown and its many stores, including the Eaton Centre, and visit the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO). End your day with dinner at one of the city's many restaurants.

Visit of Toronto

Head for Lake Ontario and visit the CN Tower, one of the world's tallest towers. Take the ferry towards the Toronto Islands and end your morning with a picnic. Back to the city, take the afternoon to visit Royal Ontario Museum; Children will prefer Ontario Science Center and its many educational activities. In the evening, enjoy your presence in one of the most culturally diverse cities in North America to attend a concert, a play or an opera.

Point Pelee National Park of Canada

In the fall and spring, hundreds of thousands of birds come to the park for a break before continuing their journey to Mexico. To enjoy this wonderful migration spectacle, nothing beats a stop at this oasis overlooking Lake Erie. Spend the night in the town of Windsor.

Going along Lake Huron, head for Georgian Bay. Spend the night in the small town of Goderich that you will discover on foot before dining in a restaurant on the charming main street.

Travelling along Highway 21 again, you will reach Tobermory. Bordered on the east by Georgian Bay and on the west by Lake Huron, the tiny community of Tobermory attracts many fishermen and divers each year. The crystal clear waters remind us of the beauty of an island like Corsica. A visit to this area is not complete without a visit to the beautiful Bruce Peninsula National Park of Canada. To sleep, there are a few hotels in Tobermory or the campground at Cyprus Lake, 15 km from Tobermory.

Discovery of Sault Ste. Marie

Enjoy the morning on the island before heading to Sault Ste. Marie. Visit the Sault Canal National Historic Site, City Hall and the Heritage Discovery Centre before heading to Bellevue Park. In the early afternoon, take a trip to Gros Cap, or enjoy a train ride to Agawa Canyon.
