Oysters of Étang de Leucate are good, and you will not have any unpleasant surprise if you buy them directly from the producers in one of the farmhouses of the oyster centre. But there is all the same one which stands out, the Treize à la Douzième. Here, you can enjoy shellfish (oysters, clams, mussels...) on a small terrace opening directly onto the inlet of Leucate. Now, it is possible to enjoy a dish composed of whelks, prawns, and unmissable oysters with excellent wines of the region, then go to the left bank for a tasting with your feet in or almost in the water!
