Chez Cul d'Oursin is one of the great references of the oyster port! Here, we work as a family and the atmosphere is good, even very good. You quickly get the impression of being part of the family. We owe this lively atmosphere to the Guinot family. For them, oysters are a family affair going back four generations. Yohann is the great-grandson of an oyster farmer from the Arcachon Basin, and he's constantly dreaming up ways to improve the quality of his oysters. Beautiful, fleshy and above all tasty, they can be enjoyed on site or at home.

Authentic! They serve just seafood. No coffee no desert. They have no suppliers but the sea. Quite amazing. I wish every place I stopped at during my trip was like this one. Several solo diners were at the place as well as families and couples. Showing that its main attraction is the fresh seafood. Also, they deserve praise for being the only open restaurant on a rainy Wednesday in May when the others, which also look authentic, were closed. The full experience.
