Day 1: Munich
Steps: Munich
To begin a historical tour of Bavaria, let's start with its heart and soul: Munich. A guided tour of the Old Town will take you back through the great episodes in Bavarian and German history: the Republic of the Councils in 1919, the Putsch of 1923, the Munich Accords of 1938, and so on.
Day 2: Munich
Steps: Munich
A visit to Munich' s Residenz allows you to get to know the various Bavarian sovereigns who have, in turn, left their mark on this palatial castle in the center of Munich. To rekindle the Olympic flame and rekindle memories of the 1972 Games, spend an afternoon in the beautiful Olympia-Park, which has retained all its modernity.

Day 3: Munich
Steps: Munich

BIER- UND OKTOBERFEST MUSEUM / NS-DOKUMENTATIONSZENTRUM / SUDETENDEUTSCHES MUSEUM
Day 4: Landshut
Steps: Landshut
This charming little medieval town, of secondary importance today, played a notable role in the Middle Ages as the capital of one of the small Bavarian duchies. Its dukes, so wealthy that several of them were called "the Rich", endowed the town with many architectural nuggets. Discover the Trausnitz fortress(Burg Trausnitz) and the Stadtresidenz.
BURG TRAUSNITZ
Day 5: Regensburg
Steps: Ratisbonne, Bamberg
Regensburg is well worth a couple of days to get the feel of this authentic city with its student, almost Italian atmosphere. The cathedral(Dom Sankt-Peter) plunges us back into the medieval history of this Empire-free city. A visit to the Altes Rathaus reveals its role as the seat of the Perpetual Diet of the Holy Roman Empire.
Day 6: Regensburg
Steps: Ratisbonne
The Danube is the main theme of this second day in Regensburg. For history buffs, a visit to the Walhalla is a must. This neoclassical pantheon provides an opportunity to familiarize yourself with the great names of German history. To learn all about Bavarian history, don't miss a visit to the beautiful Haus der bayrischen Geschichte museum.
Day 7: Nuremberg
Steps: Nuremberg
Nuremberg 's Old Town is a maze of streets that can easily be explored in a day's strolling on either side of the Pegnitz. A stroll around the city walls will give you an idea of the power of this Franconian city in the Middle Ages. The town center is also full of cafés, restaurants and bars where you can spend a festive evening.
Day 8: Nuremberg
Steps: Nuremberg
To immerse yourself in German history and culture up to the 19th century, visit the gigantic and admirable Germanisches Nationalmuseum. To commemorate the tragedies of the 20th century, visit the Memorium, where the Nuremberg trials took place, or the Dokumentationszentrum, on the site of the great Nazi rallies.
Day 9: Bamberg
Steps: Bamberg
Bamberg is a superb Episcopal city, which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1993. Rather unscathed by the bombardments, it has survived almost intact to the present day. A visit to Bamberg reveals the essence of Germany: a territorial fragmentation that favored the emergence of small states with brilliant provincial cultural centers.
Day 10: Bamberg
Steps: Munich
On the final day of this historic tour of Bavaria, you can once again stroll through the city's winding lanes, enjoying the beautiful panorama of Klein Venedig. A visit to the upper town with the Neue Residenz and the cathedral (Bamberger Dom St. Peter & St. Georg) is a must to enjoy the view.
