Start the morning at the Wong Tai Sin temple, famous for its wish-fulfilling rituals. This Taoist place of worship is a masterpiece of traditional architecture, where incense and prayers mingle in a vibrant atmosphere. Then on to the Chi Lin convent in Diamond Hill. This wooden haven of peace, built without nails using ancestral techniques, is surrounded by Zen gardens dotted with lotus ponds and pavilions. Cut your time short with a stroll through the Nan Lian Chinese gardens next door, perfect for rejuvenation. Enjoy lunch in the resort's vegetarian restaurant, where you can savour Chinese cuisine full of flavour and serenity.
In the afternoon, change the mood by exploring Mong Kok's bustling markets. Stroll through the Bird Market, where singing and colorful cages fill the air with wonder, then continue on to the Flower Market and Goldfish Market. Continue to Yau Ma Tei to discover the Jade Market and the famous Temple Street Night Market, where the bustle of street stalls contrasts with the serenity of the Tin Hau Temple. Then cross Kowloon Park, an oasis of greenery in the middle of the city, to finish at Heritage 1881, a historic site transformed into a chic space combining boutiques and restaurants. Finish the day in Tsim Sha Tsui, where you can visit the M+ Museum, the Hong Kong Museum of Art or the Hong Kong Museum of History, before attending the "Symphony of Lights" show at 8 p.m., from the promenade or a panoramic bar offering an unforgettable view of the skyline.

Discover Hong Kong Island by streetcar
Steps: Île De Hong-Kong
For an immersive morning, hop aboard the double-decker tramway, the symbol of Hong Kong Island. Pass through the vibrant neighborhoods of Kennedy Town to Quarry Bay, a true journey back in time through the city's urban diversity. In Sai Ying Pun, soak up the traditional dried food stores. Stop off at Wan Chai to visit the Blue House district, a restored residential complex that bears witness to Hong Kong's social history, and at Causeway Bay for a shopping spree in its huge malls. In Tin Hau, take time to explore the temple of the same name, a place of meditation dedicated to the goddess of the sea, protector of fishermen. At the end of the journey, head to Quarry Bay to admire the Monster Building, an impressive residential structure that bears witness to Hong Kong's urban density and has been used as a backdrop for several films. Take advantage of this crossing to observe the daily life of the inhabitants in a unique atmosphere.

Exploring Lantau
Steps: Île De Lantau
Take a day trip to Lantau, Hong Kong's largest island. From Tung Chung, take the Ngong Ping 360 cable car for spectacular views of the mountains, sea and international airport. On arrival, discover the Great Buddha Tian Tan, a monumental statue enthroned at the top of a hill, and visit Po Lin Monastery, famous for its Buddhist frescoes and giant incense.
Walk or take the bus back down to Tai O village, famous for its stilt houses, narrow streets and rustic charm. Taste local specialties such as dried shrimps and fish balls. For a moment of peace and quiet, stroll along the water's edge and watch the local fishermen. In the late afternoon, take the bus back to Mui Wo and catch the ferry back to Central while enjoying a sunset over the bay. In the evening, head to Happy Valley (Wednesday evenings only!) to watch the legendary horse races, a vibrant and unmissable experience.

Escape to Cheung Chau Island
Take a ferry to Central for an escapade on the island of Cheung Chau, a small paradise blending tradition and nature. Start with a stroll through its lively alleyways, where local stalls sell typical snacks such as mango mochi and dried seafood. Rent a bike to explore the island at your own pace, or walk along the seafront, a promenade offering magnificent views of the fishing port and the China Sea. Take a break on one of the superb beaches for a swim or picnic. If you're a seafood lover, have lunch in one of the seaside restaurants, renowned for their fresh fish. After lunch, visit the island's traditional temples, such as Pak Tai Temple, before taking the ferry back to Hong Kong.
Hiking and exploring Sheung Wan

Start your day with a hike on Dragon's Back, in the south of Hong Kong Island. This trail takes you over ridges offering stunning panoramas of the sea and surrounding beaches. The hike ends at Big Wave Bay, where you can watch the surfers and enjoy a relaxed lunch in the guinguette. Allow 2-3 hours for the walk.
In the afternoon, immerse yourself in the atmosphere of Sheung Wan. Stroll through the dried fish stores of Sai Ying Pun, discover the Man Mo Temple and explore Hollywood Road and its antique shops. Continue with PMQ, a former police district transformed into a space dedicated to design and local crafts. Don't miss Tai Kwun, a former prison rehabilitated as a cultural center, and end the day exploring Soho's narrow streets and captivating street art.

Victoria Peak and Tsim Sha Tsui

Hop on the old double-decker streetcar (Ding Ding) to Admiralty and admire iconic buildings such as the HSBC and Lippo Tower. Take time to stroll through Hong Kong Park, with its ponds, aviary and tea museum. Then hop on the Peak Tram to reach Victoria Peak, where you can enjoy an exceptional panorama of the bay. For walking enthusiasts, take the hour-long circuit around the Peak before heading back down to Central. In the evening, head to the Tsim Sha Tsui promenade for a romantic stroll along the waterfront. Finish with a cruise aboard the Aqualuna, the famous junk with red sails, which offers a spectacular view of the illuminated skyline.
