From the Timberline Lodge in Mount Hood, drive east to Pendleton. This cowboy town offers some interesting museums, a woolen mill and most importantly, a history of rodeo. Day 10: Towards Yellowstone National Park, Idaho Falls

It takes two days to reach and enjoy this beautiful park. From Boise, take the road to Craters of the Moon National Monument. After the visit, you still have two hours to reach Idaho where you will spend the night.

Day 11: Arrival in Yellowstone National Park
Take the road up to the entrance of the park. You arrive late in the morning. The afternoon will be devoted to the purchase of licenses and preparations for the next day. Night at the entrance to the park, in a lodge or a camping tent.
Day 12: Hiking in Yellowstone
Focus on hiking and camping. Camp in the park, and plan several excursions at the start of the different attractions.
Day 13: Hiking in Yellowstone
A new hike is planned for today to explore another facet of the park. Again, night in a camping tent.
Day 14: Back to Boise
Steps: Boise, Bruneau Dunes State Park, Shoshone Falls Park
The road will be long (lasting 7 hours and a half). On the way, stop at Shoshone Falls and then at Boise.
Day 15: Bend

The next day, you still need a good half day to reach Bend (5 hours and a half). As you arrive in the afternoon, take the time to walk in downtown Bend and the Old Mill District. Night in Bend.

Day 16: Smith Rock State Park

Visit the Smith Rock State Park and take a hike leading to Monkey Face. Visit the High Desert Museum and the Lava River Cave. Do not miss the charming city of Sisters and Mount Bachelor. Night in Bend.
Day 17: Crater Lake National Park

Departure from Bend in the morning, to the south and Crater Lake National Park. Profit from the afternoon to discover the park, set around a beautiful lake nestled in the crater of a former volcano, and spend the night on the spot.
Day 18: Grants Pass

The morning allows to join Grants Pass. Visit the Wildlife Images, Oregon Cellars National Monument and take the time to appreciate the historic city centre of Grants Pass. Night on site.
Day 19: Rafting on the Rogue River

In the morning, go rafting on the Rogue River. And if you have time in the afternoon, go to Jacksonville and the beautiful town of Ashland.
Day 20: Eugene

Leave Grants Pass in the morning and reach Eugene within two-hour drive. The student and eco-friendly atmosphere of the city will seduce you. You can take a tour in a brewery, a vineyard or a farmer's market. Night to Eugene.
Day 21: Florence and Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area
