Steps: Leipzig

Visit of the old town: the churches of Saint-Nicolas and Saint-Thomas, visit of the Bach Museum. Discovery of the Markt and the Town Hall. Lunch at the Auerbachskeller, where Goethe wrote scenes of Faust. At the end of the day: direction Südvorstadt. Walk along Karl-Liebknecht-Strasse, drink a beer on the terrace and have a bite at Café Puschkin. Enjoy your evening in the "cool" scene in Leipzig, at Werk II for example.

Breakfast in a café, German-style, in the Südvorstadt or in Leipzig. Head downtown to visit the Museum of Fine Arts. Have lunch in a restaurant in the centre, then head to Plagwitz, the city's new bohemian district. Go to the artists' district of the Baumwollspinnerei, visit the different exhibitions. In the evening, go out on Karl-Heine-Strasse, in Plagwitz, in the heart of the trendy scene.
